Happy Monday!
As much as Adrien and I love collaborating on our storytelling and movie-making ventures, we couldn’t have more different interests in films.
This week’s thumbnail is special, so please click Read Online if you don’t hate movies.
Whereas I enjoy the more fictional elements of storytelling, such as superhero flicks, horror movies, and historical films. Adrien caters toward more observational films, as if you were able to peek into another world. Films that make you think you’re not supposed to be seeing what’s happening.
That said, the love for cinema remains the same - whether we enjoy the same films or not. I’d put any of the first three Transformers films in my top 10 films of all time, when Adrien might wipe his ass with the DVD. All that to say, 2026 is looking like a big year for cinema, and we both have our own lists for films we’re looking forward to seeing.
We’ve both already indulged in theatrical experiences this year. Adrien went to see Nirvanna: The Band - the Show - the Movie (this is adrien: go fucking see this movie). He’s also released a short film on Instagram about his experience sneaking into the premiere last week. Check it out HERE!
On my end, I’ve seen 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, and recently, Sam Raimi’s Send Help - all three of these films are incredible and it leaves you no excuse when saying “there’s nothing good in theatres”!!!
